Overview

WestRock is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot automation and electrical control systems in our corrugated packaging plant in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role involves working closely with maintenance leadership and operators to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets production goals, emphasizing safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Provide electrical and automation controls troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Perform emergency breakdown maintenance to support plant operations
  • Review key plant metrics and equipment data to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead a team to implement continuous improvement solutions
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Provide leadership and training to other automation technicians
