Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a reputable company in Canonsburg, PA. This full-time position offers an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for a pay increase and union membership upon permanent hire.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation on machinery, electrical systems, and control panels
  • Read and interpret electrical codes, blueprints, manuals, and schematic diagrams
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing equipment
  • Draft sketches for wiring layout and equipment location
  • Prepare requisitions for tools, parts, and supplies as needed
  • Comply with attendance policies and workplace safety procedures
  • Complete other electrical duties as assigned by supervisor

Required skills

  • Experience with conduit benders, cutters, threaders, soldering tools, and electrical testing instruments
  • Capable of performing minor equipment maintenance
  • Excellent manual dexterity and precision work
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs frequently
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and troubleshooting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Dependable and punctual
