Overview

As an Inbound Sales Representative at Spectrum, you will connect with new, existing, and former customers, guiding them to the best value across various services including cable, internet, home phone, and mobile. This role emphasizes using effective communication and sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and retention while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage customers by evaluating their needs and sell them tailored product and service solutions
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of Spectrum's offerings
  • Consistently meet or surpass weekly and monthly sales targets
  • Develop customer-focused solutions highlighting benefits
  • Function as a knowledgeable consultant recommending services based on unique customer profiles
  • Foster strong relationships by maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction
  • Address retention and overflow billing calls, resolving questions and retaining customers

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' sales experience, preferably in Voice, Data and Video solutions
  • 0.5 year internal experience as a Billing agent with proven sales success
  • 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
  • Effective sales techniques and sustained achievement of sales targets
  • Working knowledge of cable communication products and services
  • Familiarity with billing systems
  • Consultative approach to customer needs analysis and objection handling
  • Ability to answer product and service questions clearly
