Overview

The Inbound Forklift role at Freshpoint primarily involves receiving and properly handling inbound produce while ensuring safe operations of powered industrial equipment. The position requires adherence to proper stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and put away all inbound produce
  • Ensure product rotation follows FIFO standards
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment
  • Keep selection slots properly stocked and remove empty pallets
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
  • Account for received product
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months experience in a warehouse
  • Proficiently use a stand-up forklift and riding pallet jack preferred
  • Basic knowledge of fresh produce preferred
  • Experience with RF scanners and product replenishment
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to perform at an acceptable productivity level
  • Physical ability to lift and move cases up to 75 lbs
