Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect organizational interests and ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulations. Prepare legal motions and court depositions; assist in trial preparation and litigation strategies. Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal opinions. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management systems; track case progress and document all pertinent activities. Represent the organization in court proceedings, mediations, or negotiations as needed; advocate effectively on behalf of clients or the organization. Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to internal stakeholders; advise on statutory compliance and procedural law requirements.Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s). Proven experience in multiple legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury case experience, employment law case experience, and general litigation. Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms. Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective legal advocacy skills. Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, trial preparation, procedural law knowledge, and court depositions. Exceptional writing skills for legal drafting and documentation; ability to prepare clear and persuasive legal motions. Familiarity with legal case management systems; adept at managing multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Effective client communication skills; capable of explaining complex legal issues clearly and professionally.
