Overview

Lisette Sanchez Law PA is looking for a motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney with 2-5 years of immigration law experience to join their legal team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will be passionate about assisting individuals and families with complex immigration processes and will play a key role in a variety of cases including family petitions, removal defense, and naturalization.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients in all aspects of immigration law, including family-based petitions and removal defense
  • Prepare, file, and monitor complex immigration cases
  • Conduct client consultations to evaluate eligibility and develop strategies
  • Represent clients in hearings, interviews, and appeals before relevant agencies
  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions and motions
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage caseloads
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain clear communication

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in good standing
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing immigration law
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and regulations
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience representing clients in USCIS interviews and EOIR hearings
  • Ability to handle a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in case management software and legal technology
  • Bilingual in Spanish
