Job Description

Overview

The Thrive Network is seeking an IIC Mental Health Professional to join their supportive team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This role involves providing direct support to children, adolescents, and families, while developing treatment plans and collaborating with other professionals to address various mental health needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to children, adolescents, and families facing challenges
  • Identify and address the needs of abused and neglected children and adults
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that encourage self-regulation and empathy
  • Collaborate with educators, care managers, clinicians, and physicians for comprehensive care
  • Offer emergency support as needed during and after office hours
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights and learn new techniques

Required skills

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Current NJ license (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT, LAC)
  • 2+ years of experience counseling children
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health services
  • Familiarity with DSM and clinical judgment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • NPI holder or willing to obtain
  • Experience with art therapy, play therapy, or child abuse treatment is a plus
  • Expertise in child development and family systems is a plus
  • Skills in therapies like PCIT, TFCBT, DIR Floortime, or ACT are a plus
