Hydraulic Mechanical Assembler - Oil & Gas Pay: $20/hr Location: NW Houston, TX 77041 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm TruBlu HR Solutions is hiring a Hydraulic Mechanical Assembler in NW Houston. This position will be working on the service side, servicing accumulators coming from offshore rigs. The work includes assembly, disassembly, testing, and hydro testing of hydraulic accumulators. This is a physically demanding position that requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures. Job Duties: Assemble and disassemble hydraulic accumulators Set up and operate hydro test equipment Make hydraulic connections from the pump to the accumulator using correct fittings Pressurize accumulators and observe leak-down rates Document hydro test results, production activity, and quality information Read and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, drawings, and work instructions Load and unload materials into hydro test machines while following safety procedures Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues Maintain and clean equipment as needed Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Requirements: Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience Oil and gas industry experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions Good math skills Strong attention to detail Comfortable with physically demanding job duties Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision Basic English reading/writing preferred for customer and engineering specifications Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship is not available Preferred Experience: Forklift experience Manufacturing crane operation or overhead crane experience Pump, accumulator, hydraulic, offshore, oilfield, or industrial service experience PPE / Attire: Steel toes and safety glasses are required.
