Overview

The Hybrid Pharmacist position at Walgreens in Memphis, TN combines retail pharmacy duties with remote services one day a week. The role focuses on ensuring the proper dispensation and review of medications, providing patient consultations, and enhancing healthcare services including immunizations and disease management.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and verification of medications.
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients and resolve their queries.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and participate in community outreach.

Required skills

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree
  • Current Pharmacist license
  • Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of drug laws
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become certified
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with pharmacy technology such as Intercom, Promise, and Plus
  • Hands-on knowledge in medication and disease state management
