Overview

The Hybrid Pharmacist role at Walgreens involves working four days in retail locations across North Carolina and one day remotely. This position is responsible for compounding, dispensing, and verifying prescribed medications while adhering to regulatory guidelines and providing exceptional pharmacy consulting services to patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding and medication management
  • Review, interpret, and dispense prescribed medications
  • Enhance patient experience through healthcare services and consultations
  • Resolve customer queries and issues to ensure a positive experience
  • Support staff training and foster teamwork
  • Analyze performance data and assist with inventory management
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies

Required skills

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree
  • Current Pharmacist license
  • Experience in prescription dispensing and pharmacy operations
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become certified
  • Experience with pharmacy technology systems
  • Strong knowledge of controlled substance laws
  • Time management skills for handling multiple projects
