Overview

The Hybrid Pharmacist role at Walgreens involves working four days in retail settings throughout Missouri and one day from home. The pharmacist will ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, and verification of medications while providing consulting services to patients and enhancing their healthcare experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
  • Enhance patient experience through consultations and healthcare services.
  • Resolve customer queries and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct centralized support for patient registration and issue resolution.
  • Train and develop pharmacy staff while promoting teamwork.
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement procedures for asset protection.
  • Maintain relationships with medical providers and community outreach.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Required skills

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Pharmacist license from the appropriate state authority.
  • Experience in prescription dispensing and applicable drug laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.
  • Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
