Overview

The Hybrid Pharmacist at Walgreens will work across various retail locations in Missouri while spending one day per week working remotely. This role involves ensuring proper medication management, providing pharmacy consulting services, and supporting patient healthcare needs, including immunizations and drug reviews.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure proper compounding and dispensing of medications
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients
  • Manage and optimize pharmacy workflow and inventory
  • Conduct patient consultations regarding medication use
  • Resolve customer queries to ensure a positive experience
  • Support staff training and development
  • Analyze performance data and implement improvement procedures
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Develop relationships with medical providers and community

Required skills

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree
  • Current state pharmacist license
  • Experience in prescription dispensing
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to obtain certification
  • Pharmacy software and technology experience
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of controlled substance laws
  • Ability to work in various environments
