Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Systems Integrator to join its Tucson, AZ team. This role involves collaborating with weapon system designers to create and implement testing environments for missile systems before flight tests. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with troubleshooting and system integration.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various trades and design teams within the HWIL organization
  • Perform system integration activities to support signal presentation
  • Engage in troubleshooting and failure investigation within HWIL facilities
  • Participate in HWIL engineering teams for test system design, assembly, and integration
  • Operate HWIL test environments throughout various program development phases

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Integration experience with hardware, software, and/or firmware
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in generating technical documentation and reports
  • Knowledge of RF theory and application in systems
  • Experience with networking and IP addressed based equipment
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, and MATLAB
