Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Senior Systems Integrator for their Tuscon, AZ location. The role involves troubleshooting and integrating systems to support the design, build, and testing of flight simulators for missile systems, collaborating with weapon system designers to ensure successful tactical software development and deployment.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within HWIL.
  • Perform system integration activities within HWIL facilities.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and failure investigation within HWIL.
  • Engage in test system design, assembly, and integration activities.
  • Operate HWIL test environments through various development phases.

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Integration experience with hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong organization, coordination, and planning skills.
  • Experience with RF theory and application.
  • Knowledge of networking and IP-based equipment.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
