Job Description

Overview

The HVM Electrical Technical Sales Specialist at Vertiv will support their High Voltage Maintenance business by providing sales and technical support in the Cleveland area. This role involves generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating with service teams to promote the company's engineering and testing services.

Key responsibilities

  • Make regular sales calls on existing accounts and establish relationships with new customers
  • Make effective customer presentations
  • Provide proposals or service contracts for HVM's services and repair work
  • Coordinate and schedule work with Service Center Manager and customers
  • Promote sales through active participation in trade shows and professional societies
  • Develop weekly invoicing and monthly status reports with Business Administrator

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical
  • Graduate of Electrical Technical School
  • Military certification with relevant work experience
  • Experience in sales and customer relationship management
  • Technical support and proposal development skills
  • Presentation and project coordination skills
