Job Description

Overview

Tulsa Welding School is seeking full-time HVACR Instructors in Grapeland, Texas, to lead hands-on training, mentor students, and ensure a safe classroom environment. Instructors will engage students in learning and evaluate curriculum effectiveness while maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on training and mentor students
  • Engage students in classroom discussions and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades
  • Create and maintain a safe classroom environment
  • Manage classroom tools, including issuing and inspecting them
  • Communicate and enforce school policies and procedures
  • Maintain classroom equipment through evaluation and repair
  • Evaluate curriculum for ongoing relevance
  • Continuously develop professional technical expertise
  • Attend semi-annual graduation ceremonies

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Experience working in shop or lab environments
