Overview

Skol Construction Concepts is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Tampa, Florida, to join their team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial HVAC systems as well as related equipment in a restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair restaurant-level equipment
  • Service and repair 5-10-ton HVAC units, makeline tables, and walk-in coolers
  • Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions for electrical and mechanical faults
  • Use hand & power tools, refrigerant gauges, and multi meters for repairs
  • Keep equipment warranty/repair records and asset tags up to date
  • Perform mild plumbing and electrical work
  • Manage work orders and equipment tagging using Corrigo, Service Channel, Service Titan
  • Complete work orders promptly and prioritize critical tasks

Required skills

  • EPA Type 2 or Universal certification
  • 3 years of experience in HVAC/R
  • Basic computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
