Overview

Skol Construction Concepts is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience and involves troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial HVAC systems, including refrigeration and electrical components.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair restaurant-level equipment
  • Service and repair 5-10-ton HVAC units, makeline tables, and walk-in coolers
  • Monitor equipment to detect electrical and mechanical faults
  • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
  • Keep equipment warranty/repair records and asset tags up to date
  • Manage work orders using Corrigo, Service Channel, and Service Titan
  • Handle mild plumbing and electrical work as needed
  • Work from elevated areas such as ladders and rooftops

Required skills

  • EPA Type 2 or Universal certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/R
  • Basic computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift 50 pounds or more
