Overview

As an HVAC Technician at Optima, you will work directly for the developer at the Optima Sonoran Village property, performing maintenance services for a luxury apartment community. The role involves completing service requests, conducting preventative maintenance, and managing general maintenance tasks with minimal driving required.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
  • Implement bi-annual HVAC preventative maintenance plan
  • Oversee HVAC inventory and ordering
  • Assist in training team on proper HVAC repair methods
  • Complete resident work order requests
  • Perform general maintenance repairs like plumbing and carpentry
  • Record and maintain logs for HVAC and regular work orders
  • Participate in on-call team for after-hours availability
  • Maintain the general upkeep of property and grounds

Required skills

  • Universal HVAC Certificate

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair
