Job Description

Overview

As an HVAC Technician at Optima, you will perform maintenance services for a luxury apartment community, primarily on-site at the Optima Sonoran Village property in Mesa, Arizona. Your role is crucial to ensuring the success of the properties through HVAC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and general maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair
  • Execute bi-annual HVAC preventative maintenance plan
  • Oversee HVAC inventory and ordering
  • Assist with training team on proper HVAC repair methods
  • Complete resident work order requests
  • Perform general maintenance repairs such as plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
  • Record and maintain logs for HVAC and regular work orders
  • Serve on the on-call team for after-hours availability
  • Maintain general upkeep of the property and grounds

Required skills

  • Universal HVAC Certificate
  • Customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair
  • Current and valid driver's license
