Overview

ABM Industries is seeking an HVAC Technician for a full-time, on-call position in Springboro, Ohio. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with a focus on ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust HVAC electrical systems
  • Use common HVAC tools in daily work
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Identify and mitigate maintenance risks on equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
  • Keep daily logs and records of maintenance functions
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Assist with customer inquiries
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • HVAC experience (preferred 3 years)
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification
  • HVAC trade or vocational certification (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid, unexpired driver's license
