Overview

ABM Industries is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician for a 1st shift position in Dayton, Ohio. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment, as well as providing technical training and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust HVAC components
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Keep daily logs and records of maintenance functions
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Assist with customer inquiries and provide technical direction
