Overview

Skol Construction Concepts is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team in Panama City, Florida. This role requires the technician to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial HVAC systems as well as maintain restaurant-level equipment for one of the largest Domino's franchises in the United States.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair restaurant level equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Service and repair 5-10-ton HVAC units, makeline tables, and walk-in coolers
  • Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions for electrical and mechanical faults
  • Handle thermostats and remote equipment controllers
  • Keep equipment warranty/repair records and asset tags up to date
  • Complete work orders promptly, prioritizing critical tasks
  • Perform mild plumbing and electrical work as needed
  • Manage work orders and inventory using service management software

Required skills

  • EPA Type 2 or Universal certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/R
  • Basic level computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more frequently
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and confined spaces
