Chancey & Reynolds Heating & Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Communicate repair options and recommendations to customers
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service on every call
  • Follow company safety standards and industry best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch, management, and fellow technicians

Required skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of HVAC service experience
  • EPA Certification
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience servicing heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, and split systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Preferred: NATE Certification
  • Experience with indoor air quality products and accessories
  • Strong understanding of HVAC electrical and refrigeration systems
