Job Description Job Description Position SummaryThe Mechanical Estimator / Project Coordinator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for design/build and public bid mechanical projects. This role supports projects from bidding through coordination by evaluating plans and specifications, managing pricing, and assisting with procurement and job execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate estimates for design/bid and public bid projects by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, addendums, and related documentsPerform estimating, purchasing, submittal review, and overall job coordinationAccurately estimate HVAC systems based on plans and specifications using computer-based estimating systems and related softwareObtain, review, and evaluate pricing for materials, direct labor, manufacturing equipment, and subcontractor quotesReview plans and specifications to identify discrepancies and determine appropriate solutionsMaintain detailed estimating logs, unit costs, and historical pricing data for all projectsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractorsPerform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs as requiredManage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines throughout the entire bid processEvaluate scope changes and adapt quickly as project requirements evolve during biddingRead and interpret estimated quantities and values, and assist with procurement of equipment and materials Company Description HVAC ContractorMechanical ContractorAir Conditioning Heating Contractor Electrical Contractor Plumbing Contractor Company Description HVAC Contractor Mechanical Contractor Air Conditioning Heating Contractor Electrical Contractor Plumbing Contractor
