Overview

The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic at Uniland Development Corp is a skilled role responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems across commercial properties. This position involves responding to service requests, conducting preventive maintenance, and addressing emergencies, all while upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism. Key responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency and routine maintenance work orders.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including rooftop units and split systems.
  • Identify and resolve HVAC-related issues to minimize disruption.
  • Conduct general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain work records.
  • Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to traffic laws.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergencies.
  • Assist with property readiness tasks and ongoing professional development.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification Universal is required.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification required.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance software systems, such as Yardi.
  • Proficiency with HVAC-specific tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across various sites independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
