Overview

Mountain Air is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Lead Installer to lead installation projects and mentor junior team members. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints and installation plans
  • Ensure installations meet company standards and local codes
  • Train and coach install apprentices and junior technicians
  • Communicate with homeowners to explain system operations
  • Maintain accurate job documentation
  • Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide solutions

Required skills

  • 3-5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • EPA Certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
