Overview

John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking a full-time HVAC Lead Installer to handle the installation of new HVAC units while adhering to safety guidelines and company specifications. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and lead a team of HVAC Installer Helpers.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Design, fabricate, and install ducts and duct fittings
  • Provide guidance and training to HVAC Installer Helpers
  • Install HVAC equipment in customers' homes with minimal supervision
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, managers, and installation teams
  • Keep inventory up to date and maintain a clean company truck
  • Participate in training sessions for professional development

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in air conditioning installation and mechanic work
  • Proficiency in split systems, package units, and heat pumps
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Self-motivated team player with emphasis on quality workmanship
  • CFC Certification - Type I and II
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical codes
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass random drug tests
  • Neat and professional appearance
