Overview

Total Air is seeking a full-time HVAC Lead Installer to join their team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role involves the installation of new HVAC units, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and company specifications while maintaining high-quality standards. Successful candidates will need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings
  • Guide HVAC Installer Helpers in proper installation techniques
  • Install HVAC equipment with minimal supervision
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and installation teams
  • Keep company truck clean and inventory up to date
  • Participate in training for professional development

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Air Conditioning Installation
  • Proficient in split systems, package units, and heat pumps
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Codes
  • CFC Certification - Type I and II
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
