Overview

Parker & Sons is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician in Tucson, Arizona to join their team dedicated to providing excellent customer service. The role involves installing and replacing HVAC equipment, educating customers on product options, and adhering to safety and compliance standards while maintaining a collaborative and engaging work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork and various system types
  • Maintain company vehicle and inventory of tools and safety equipment
  • Travel to job sites and communicate delays or schedule changes to customers
  • Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency
  • Engage with homeowners to identify concerns and propose accessory sales or system replacements
  • Generate customer invoices and process payments at the job site
  • Participate in training on customer service and industry technologies
  • Coach and mentor apprentices and entry-level installers

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
  • Knowledge of refrigeration function and theory
  • Ability to diagnose and perform replacements on HVAC components
  • Type II EPA Certification
  • Basic hand tools and testing equipment usage
  • Experience with Service Titan preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
