Overview

Epting Distributors INC is seeking a full-time HVAC Counter Sales representative for their location in Savannah, GA. This role involves assisting contractors with their HVAC needs and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be part of a family-oriented company that values employee well-being and success.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and greet walk-in customers
  • Assist customers in product selections and troubleshooting
  • Research and source products using various tools
  • Enter sales orders into the point-of-sale system
  • Process customer returns and warranties
  • Follow up on customer requests for information and quotes
  • Develop good working relationships with customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the showroom
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally
  • Assist Warehouse Team with stocking and order fulfillment

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC or equivalent training
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical documents
  • General knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal communication and phone skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR
