Overview

Canon Information Technology Services is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to enhance the employee experience and support various HR initiatives. This role involves collaborating with employees and management to handle onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and other HR functions in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Process and maintain employee lifecycle changes
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity and compliance
  • Conduct regular audits of employment records
  • Administer human resources programs and initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities
  • Provide offboarding support to employees
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment law
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Google Workspace applications
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Comfortable with change and continuous improvement
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships
