Overview

The Human Resources Representative at Carl Buddig & Company supports various HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HRIS administration for the Taft location. This role aims to foster a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance and data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

  • Support recruiting and onboarding processes, including interview scheduling and orientation coordination
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and support new hire integration activities
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives and recognition activities
  • Assist in facilitating training sessions related to leadership development and compliance
  • Maintain accurate HRIS and employee data within Paycom and other systems
  • Support I-9 compliance efforts and audit readiness
  • Assist with HR reporting and tracking metrics
  • Ensure compliance with federal, Illinois, and company employment requirements
  • Support communication and rollout of HR programs and initiatives
  • Partner with leaders and HR team members to support workforce initiatives
  • Participate in cross-training and provide backup support across HR functions
