Overview

Aramark is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Operations, which includes overseeing HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, and employee engagement. This onsite role requires a flexible schedule and a hands-on approach to managing HR activities within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a proactive staffing plan with operations
  • Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Manage staffing for various sports events and special occasions
  • Ensure compliance with employment relations issues and corporate policies
  • Train and coach management staff in HR practices
  • Facilitate employee orientations and onboarding
  • Manage and report on employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR metrics
  • Assist with HR projects as required

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources Management
  • HR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in human resources planning and organizational development
  • Employment relations experience including conducting investigations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to train and present effectively
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving abilities for varied situations
