Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team and business partner
  • Enhance company culture and employee engagement
  • Resolve employee concerns and promote a positive work environment
  • Assist top management with planning and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Support business objectives related to staffing, performance management, and training
  • Manage employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO/AAP, and safety

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience in HR
  • 3+ years managing an HR department in the Food Industry
  • 3+ years of union experience
  • Experience in a large plant (over 600 employees)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge in employee engagement, performance management, training and development, and safety management
