Overview

The Human Resources Manager at Ace Hardware will lead and administer HR programs and policies at the Retail Support Center in West Jefferson, OH. The role involves ensuring compliance with employment laws, talent acquisition, employee relations, and overseeing HR services while collaborating with operational partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support Ace values and HR strategy for the RSC
  • Administer HR programs related to employee relations, compensation, and staffing
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HR team within the RSC
  • Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding processes
  • Investigate employee relations issues and determine corrective actions
  • Create and oversee employee recognition programs and events
  • Collaborate with operations to train, develop, and mentor staff

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
  • 5 years HR management experience
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload in high-pressure environments
