Overview

Ace Hardware is seeking an RSC Human Resources Manager at their Retail Support Center in West Jefferson, OH. This role is responsible for leading and administering HR programs and policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing HR support to operational partners. The manager will also oversee talent acquisition and employee services within the RSC.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and administer HR programs and policies related to employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety, performance, and staffing.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding processes for the RSC.
  • Investigate employee relations issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations to create employee recognition programs and events.
  • Support safety initiatives and promote a safe workplace.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • 5 years HR management experience
  • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
