Job Description

Overview

Ace Hardware Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead HR programs and policies at their Retail Support Center in West Jefferson, OH. This role will oversee all aspects of employment law compliance, talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management, while also ensuring a high level of HR service to operational partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and administer HR programs and policies for employee relations, performance management, and staffing
  • Manage daily operations of the HR team within the RSC
  • Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding for the RSC population
  • Partner with the Regional HR Manager on strategic direction and departmental goals
  • Investigate employee relations issues and determine corrective action solutions
  • Collaborate with the operations team to create recognition programs and events
  • Promote a safe and productive workplace culture

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • 5 years HR management experience
  • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a high-pressure environment
