Overview

The Human Resources Manager at Nestle Nutrition is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to the R&D Center for Baby Food Meals & Drinks in Fremont, MI. This role focuses on aligning HR strategy with business objectives while managing a comprehensive range of HR activities including recruitment, employee development, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational HR support aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the full scope of Human Resources activities including recruitment and employee development.
  • Oversee the execution of HR initiatives and foster a positive work environment.
  • Guide change initiatives and support organizational effectiveness.
  • Challenge organizational structures to drive performance.
  • Utilize performance systems to achieve company goals.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and provide direction to management.

Required skills

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or SAP).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage projects effectively.
