Overview

The Human Resources (HR) Leave of Absence (LOA) Specialist at Rutland Regional Medical Center is responsible for administering and ensuring compliance with various employee leave programs, including FMLA and ADA. This role requires a strong background in HR operations and a focus on documentation accuracy and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and workers' compensation
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific leave laws
  • Coordinate leave of absence activities and processes
  • Manage sensitive and confidential employee information
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding leave options
  • Assess risks and maintain documentation accuracy
  • Handle multiple complex cases simultaneously
