Position Description: The Opportunity Summit Express is looking for an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Generalist who can be both a trusted employee resource and a practical partner to our business owners. You will own the day-to-day people function-from finding and welcoming great employees to helping managers address performance, employee relations, benefits, policies, and workplace issues with consistency and care. This is an excellent role for an HR professional who enjoys variety, takes initiative, works comfortably without layers of corporate infrastructure, and can move between a sensitive employee conversation, a recruiting deadline, a benefits question, and a data report in the same day. What You'll Own Recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, and hiring candidates for operational and office positions.A professional, organized onboarding process that sets new employees and managers up for success.Employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance documentation, corrective action, and terminations in partnership with ownership.Benefits administration, employee communications, enrollments, changes, vendor coordination, and record accuracy.Company policies and procedures-helping employees understand expectations and leaders apply them consistently.People reporting and metrics, including headcount, vacancies, turnover, retention, attendance, onboarding, training, and performance follow-up.Accurate, confidential personnel files, HR systems, required documentation, and administrative deadlines.Selected office-administration projects, data reporting, document management, and leadership support. What You Bring Five or more years of progressive, hands-on HR experience.Direct experience across recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, and separations.Confidence working directly with business owners and managers-bringing sound judgment, clear recommendations, and reliable follow-through.Strong knowledge of practical HR and employment practices, plus the judgment to know when to seek specialist guidance.Comfort with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, reporting, and office technology.Excellent communication, discretion, organization, attention to detail, and a genuine service mindset.The ability to balance employee advocacy with business needs and apply policies fairly and consistently.
