Job Description

Overview

The Human Resources Generalist at Advantage Solutions Inc. plays a vital role in supporting HR functions, which include staying updated with employment laws, conducting market research on HR practices, and providing administrative support to the HR team. This position requires proficiency in both French and English and focuses on facilitating employee relations and recruitment within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate HR programs, policies, and procedures
  • Stay current with legal requirements and ensure compliance of policies
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Partner with leadership to recruit, interview, select, and promote associates
  • Conduct market research on HR best practices
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns
  • Support the setup of employee programs

Required skills

  • Five years of human resources experience
  • Fluent in French and English (verbal and written)
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
  • CHRP or CHRL Designation (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
