Human Resources Generalist Fort Collins Area, CO (Onsite)Salary: $60k-$70k Position Summary for HR Generalist: Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle and help foster a professional, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. This hands-on role will partner with employees and managers across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, training coordination, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where confidentiality, responsiveness, and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities of HR Generalist: Support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, background checks, and offer letter preparation. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience. Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and HR documentation. Assist with benefits administration, including employee inquiries, open enrollment support, and vendor coordination. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll coordination, leave administration, and general HR questions. Partner with managers on employee relations matters, performance documentation, corrective actions, and policy interpretation. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including Colorado employment regulations. Coordinate employee training, engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications. Assist with performance review processes and employee development initiatives. Prepare HR reports and metrics to support leadership and business decisions. Coordinate payroll-related changes to ensure timely and accurate processing. Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion. Qualifications of HR Generalist: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support role. Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. Working knowledge of federal and Colorado employment laws. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems. Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification. Experience supporting HR functions within a manufacturing environment. Experience with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
