Job Description

Overview

CFS is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join an award-winning design firm in downtown Seattle. This role is critical to the People & Culture team, focusing on benefits administration, leave management, and enhancing the employee experience throughout their lifecycle at the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily benefits administration and maintain accurate records
  • Lead reconciliation of monthly benefit invoices and manage escalated inquiries
  • Analyze usage data to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
  • Manage leave programs, including FMLA and state-specific leaves
  • Support workplace accommodations and employee relations
  • Partner with HR and Payroll teams on onboarding and offboarding
  • Generate HRIS reports and contribute to policy development
  • Assist in communicating programs and initiatives for an inclusive culture

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 3 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in benefits and leave administration
  • Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and COBRA
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in developing HR policies and managing compliance
