Overview

The Austin Allen Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a leading automotive manufacturing client, located in Batesville, Mississippi. This role offers a chance to positively impact the workplace culture while managing various HR functions, with an attractive compensation package and a focus on professional growth in a scenic Southern environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support all HR functions including Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Recruitment
  • Assist with staffing tasks: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Develop and coordinate employee relations programs and plant activities
  • Administer HR policies and provide guidance
  • Deliver employee communications professionally and confidentially
  • Administer benefits and support employee inquiries
  • Engage in community activities to enhance local presence

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year of related HR experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Experience with ADP or KRONOS (a plus)
