Overview

Human Resources Coordinator - Onsite in Natchitoches, LA Role and Responsibilities The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance. Manages the onboarding, offboarding, and promotion processing proceduresParticipates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminarsMaintains company organizational chartsIssues employee badges and replacements as neededCollects HR mail and scans to the HR and Payroll Specialist dailyPrepares the Executive Conference room for on-site new hires to arrive and get settled for OrientationProvides campus tours for new hires and guests as requestedPrepares and mails materials as needed such as Employee of the Month certificates and employee prizesGives new hire HR Orientations and attends IT OrientationsWrites and sends personnel announcements for new hires weeklyCreates and uploads new hire and promotion ADP homepage tiles weeklyManages and coordinates the Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year programsSchedules and attends interviews and other meetings as assignedMaintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as requestedAssists with recruitment efforts for all nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees as requested by the HR Recruiting and Talent SpecialistMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulationsAbides by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI).If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources.Attends, completes, and demonstrates competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the companyFlexibility to understand, appreciate and embrace that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
