Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator at San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center plays a key role in supporting HR operations to enhance the organization's mission of serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position is essential for maintaining personnel records, coordinating projects, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS data for compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and prepare expense reports for senior executives.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership, employees, and external partners for effective communication.
  • Prepare and edit HR-related documents to ensure professionalism.
  • Provide administrative support for daily operations including filing and data entry.
  • Assist in planning and executing meetings, trainings, and organizational events.
  • Compile documents for audits and ensure compliance with laws and agency standards.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR coordination and executive support.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and people-centered leadership.
