Overview

PathWays of the River Valley is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to support their mission-driven organization based in Claremont, NH. The role involves managing various HR functions including recruiting, employee support, compliance, and organizing recognition events, making it ideal for someone who is organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage applicant screening, interviews, and new hire orientation
  • Maintain personnel files and coordinate training and certifications
  • Oversee background checks and track mandatory requirements
  • Organize employee recognition programs and events
  • Support payroll and mileage reimbursement processing as needed
  • Serve on the Safety Committee and other internal groups

Required skills

  • 3+ years of HR experience preferred
  • Strong administrative experience and skills
  • Knowledge of HR functions including recruiting and training
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and social media
  • Familiarity with Adobe, Canva, and AI is a plus
  • Payroll software experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
