Location: PHX Airport Location On-SiteSchedule: Full-Time ExemptCompensation: $25 - $28 / hr SSP America is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about supporting people and operations in a fast-paced airport environment. As a trusted HR partner, you will work closely with the Senior People Leader and airport leadership to support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, reporting, and HR operations. What You'll DoRecruitment & Onboarding: Lead hourly recruitment, coordinate hiring activities with operations leaders, and facilitate compliant new hire onboarding and orientation.Employee Relations: Support workplace investigations, coach managers on policy and performance matters, assist with documentation, and promote engagement and recognition.Compliance & HR Administration: Maintain personnel, medical, leave, workers' compensation, and other confidential records while supporting audits, leave administration, accommodations, and corrective action plans.HR Operations & Reporting: Maintain accurate HRIS records, support payroll-related HR activities, monitor training completion, and prepare recurring HR reports.Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted HR partner to airport leadership by providing day-to-day guidance, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and reinforcing SSP America's culture, values, and operational excellence. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.2-4 years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and confidential recordkeeping.Strong organizational, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG, Oracle, or similar systems. Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting multi-unit or high-volume operations.Hospitality, restaurant, retail, distribution, or similar operational experience.Experience supporting workplace investigations.SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable HR certification.
