The HR Generalist will work in downtown Nashville in Davidson County. This would be a hybrid role, working anywhere between 2-5 days a week in-office The HR Generalist will provide professional human resources support to the Department of General Services (DGS), helping ensure accurate, timely, and consistent delivery of HR services throughout the employee lifecycle. This role will support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment and hiring, onboarding, personnel transactions, payroll and timekeeping coordination, employee inquiries, and offboarding. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Director, DGs employees, and HR partners to coordinate HR processes, maintain accurate information, and provide responsive customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive employee information.
