Overview

The HTS/Direct Support Professional Floater at Home of Hope is responsible for providing support to individuals with disabilities across various locations. The role entails assisting with daily living skills, personal hygiene, vocational skills, and promoting social inclusion and independence for the individuals served.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal hygiene
  • Provide support for vocational skills and community integration
  • Document and report incidents and progress to the team
  • Encourage self-esteem and well-being of individuals receiving services
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Transport individuals to activities and appointments
  • Complete required training and comply with protocols

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Completion of First Aid/CPR Training
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and locations
